Who We Are
An independent Iraqi civil society organization, officially registered in 2025, born from the deep conviction that the environment is not a luxury but a fundamental human right, and that sustainability is the true path to a more just and equitable future
Keesh seeks to promote the principles of sustainable development and human rights in Iraq by raising environmental awareness and empowering individuals to become active participants in the process of change. Our vision is founded on the belief that no one can truly thrive without an environment that respects their dignity, safeguards their resources, and provides equal opportunities to build a dignified life
We plan to launch programs and initiatives in the fields of environmental education, afforestation, waste management, and local community empowerment, firmly believing that real change begins from within—through awareness and the conviction that every small step toward protecting the environment is an investment in hope and in the generations to come who deserve a cleaner and more just Iraq
